The Power of ‘I Am’: Thoughts on Self-Acceptance

Random Thoughts

Hey love bugs! 💕 Lately, I’ve had an influx of random thoughts that continuously rattle around in my head with no rhyme or reason. At first, I tried to incorporate some of these arbitrary thoughts into my blogs, but it’s just not coming together the way I’d like. So instead of torturing myself with trying to make it make sense, I decided to throw my spaghetti-wired thoughts out there. If this continues, I just may start a series!

What random thoughts do you have? Send them to me and I’ll add them in my next posts. Let’s share this journey of self-discovery and growth together.

As I reflect, I can’t help but think about this: If God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” (Genesis 1:26), and then God said, “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14), then why do we say, “I want,” “I hope,” “I wish” instead of “I Am”?

There’s so much power in speaking life into ourselves. I Am blessed, I Am healthy, I Am beautiful, I Am intelligent, I Am worthy, I Am just as I Am.

Looking back over my life, I realize that every hardship I’ve endured gave me strength, compassion, resourcefulness, wisdom, and growth. Every trial was a stepping stone toward becoming a better version of myself. Graceful and impactful aging is a blessing that we should never take for granted. It’s through those tough times that I’ve found resilience and purpose. 💪🏽

It’s never too late to start again, and again, and again, and again… Never give up. Keep going, keep shining, keep loving, keep dreaming, and most importantly, keep growing. 🌱

There comes a time when you truly accept that it’s not about you. Keep it moving, love. Shift the focus from yourself to the bigger picture, and everything falls into place.

Be kind to yourself, be kind to others. Keep your thoughts on the Lord and not on your own. When we let go of worry, we unlock the freedom to truly live. My ancestors worked too hard for me to carry unnecessary burdens. Worry only brings unhealthy aging, and we are meant to live, love, and grow with grace.

And who knew that true forgiveness felt this good?!? 😊
Forgiveness isn’t just for others—it’s a gift to ourselves. Releasing that weight opens the door to peace and joy.

So here’s where I stand today: I Am blessed. I Am worthy. I Am continually growing and learning to embrace life’s flow. It’s all about staying grounded, rooted in faith, and empowered by love. 💛🧡💛

Let’s keep going, together.
